For Immediate Release - Ranger Tugs, LLC of Kent, Washington is pleased to announce:
The next generation of tug has arrived! The all new 2020 Ranger Tug RT-29OB is another masterpiece of innovation! In response to overwhelming customer demand, Ranger Tugs has partnered with Seven Marine (a Volvo Penta technology partner) and will be powering the new 2020 RT-29OB with four Seven Marine 627sv outboard engines.

These state-of-the-art outboards deliver a mind bending 2,508 total horsepower at 5,600 RPM. A revolutionary newly designed octi-step hull features 1,180 flush mounted, computer controlled, air injectors which let the boat literally ride on a curtain of air at cruising speed! Top speed in sea trials exceeded 87 knots, allowing the RT-29OB to deliver you to your destination in just a few minutes rather than in hours. Fuel capacity has been increased to a best-in-class 680 gallons by utilizing the inboard engine compartment area to provide for extended cruising range.
The more modern styling features a curved front window and an overhead glass atrium that provides exceptional visibility from the helm station and salon area. The swim platform has been removed and the transom braced with a proprietary boron fiber laminate to provide exceptional strength and vibration control.
The new 2020 Ranger Tug RT-29OB accommodates up to six adults on three separate berths, including the forward island berth with en-suite head. Safety features include 28 strategically placed air bags within the cabin to ensure occupant safety while underway. Standard stern and bow thrusters make docking exceptionally easy.
