Anyone familiar with boat shows on east coast 2015 or 2016 would like to look at different size ranger tugs thanks. Will also be searching boat shows ,figured asking may be best source.

Trawlerfest is this weekend in Annapolis MD

Several boatshows in October. You can go to the Ranger Tugs website, then click on boatshows for a full calendar of 2015 & 2016 shows.

Thanks for replys.

Boston Boat Show February 2016

Winter Island Yacht Yard in Salem, MA has some in their yard.

Thank you Barry, may also may go to Hartford boat show ,waiting to hear if from Ranger Tugs if they will have them there?

Pocket Yacht will probably be showing at the Annapolis PowerBoat show this month. They were going to be at the Trawlerfest this weekend too but it was cancelled because of the nearby hurricane. They usually have most of the tug and cutwater models on display.

Winter Island Yachts will probably be at the Providence RI boat show in Feb 2016.

WINTER ISLAND IS HAVING IN THE WATER TEST RUNS SOME TIME IN OCTOBER. CONTACT THEM FOR THE SPECIFICS.

Look forward to boat shows ,something to help the long winter along.

Are you close to Philly? Go see Winters Sailing Center. They are in southern Jersey. They are great people and have plenty of Rangers. Ask for Don, he's the best.

Thanks Pug tug we are in philly once in a while will make a trip there.

Talked to Don today, going to make a trip there. He said they have a new 27 ft Ranger in stock also a 25. Good lead Pug tug on Winters sailing center,if I was younger would take a few sailing and navigating courses there, always wanted to give it a try.

Annapolis has a yacht show this weekend. Oct. 16
I spoke to Mark, Pocket Yacht Co. who told me they will be displaying Ranger 25, 27, 29, 31. All 2016's. FYI

Good to know thanks, wish I could make it would like to see all of them just to compare.

Just got back from Winters sailing center, really big boat yard. Got to look at a 25 and 27 Ranger, very nice boats good to finally see in person. When sitting at helm steering wheel seems low, not a complaint ,just feels different would get used to that real quick. Wife and I both love the boats.

I had the same issue with the wheel placement when I stood at the helm because it was nothing like were I was used to it being after driving Sea Rays for 30 years. I bought the Ranger 25SC anyway and very quickly got use to the placement of the wheel. l like to drive standing up (I have to sit too much at the desk and computer at work) so that helps. Furthermore, I use the autopilot considerably more than I ever expected to. At trawler speeds, even fast trawler speeds, it is an option I would highly recommend to anyone.

When your used to wheel being up higher and having a speed knob,it just felt low when sitting. But we are looking to own one in future, its not a complaint ,just an observation, will end up liking it better especially with thrusters.
