Rangers on the hull truth radar

You know, I may get some grief for this, but I like our site better. Yes, of course, ours is more relevant to our tug-occupied lives. But the tenor and tone of our site is more user-friendly, open to ideas both clever and naive, patient with the uninitiated, and without the hard edge that some hull truthers seem to like. Perhaps the personality of the tugs attracts a different personality of boat owner which, in turn, is reflected in the site. Or I could be completely out to lunch, which is more likely.

I like our site. Thanks Bruce and others.

Everybody likes to defend their position, so once you have a site that has different brand boat owners the difference of opinion will be very divergent. A Donzi owner will think very badly of a Ranger. We do have a lot of systems packed in a small boat and those systems require maintenance and fixing in a hostel salt water environment. Some people may think a smaller boat should be easier to maintain, but only when it comes to washing and waxing with our boats. The systems are very much the same as on the larger boats and require the same upkeep. Every time I want to go for the bigger Ranger I wash and wax and realize she is just the right size! 🙂

I'm still looking for all that plastic the author talked about our boats having, have not seen any yet, maybe he's referring to the fiberglass in the cabin?

Obviously he does not know what he is talking about.

Don't know about the comments on that site but yesterday I put our R25 on the trailer in preparation for a fall trip to the ohio river to look at the colors. Since then have had 3 visitors wanting to see and talk about this beautiful boat. Note to Ranger Tugs... Give me a call, these boats could sell here pretty easily.

I generally find that those with the most wisdom about any endeavor rarely use negativity.
