I am looking for suggestions on how to clean the inside of the Raw Water intake on my 2016 R25 . When the boat was pulled the intake was 100 % covered with barnacles. The yard had painted the bottom and apparently used bottom paint on the underwater metals as opposed to prop coat barnacle barrier, which they assured me they would. I power washed the bottom and removed the barnacles however I am concerned that the insides of the intake may be fouled.
Two questions;
How would you suggest I clean the inside of the intake?
There are four screws on the corners of the intake screen. Is the face of the screen removable , or is the whole of the apparatus?
I trust that this makes sense. Any ideas on how to ensure that the water flow is not obstructed are appreciated. The boat is out of the water until May.

Bob Flaherty
