Hello Kenny Mars/Andew Curtis,
Kenny and Andrew,
I spoke to Kenny last week regarding raw water supply to my Tecma Head on may 2011 R29. He suggested putting a water his at the multi-port raw water and forcing water up to the head on the white hose. I did that and got a small amount of water to the head so I know I have an R29 with raw water head. Also moved the head itself and there is no solenoid fresh water valve.
I can flush my Tecma toilet and know about the thermal breaker under the helm NAV station.
I also traced the raw water pump suction to an area behind the Onan Generator and see red and black power lines but I can not see the pump itself.
Just this past year I pulled the Onan Generator to replace the rotten wood on starboard area and rebuilt the generator pedestal. Now I suspect that the raw water pump is not working. I am hoping this is not the case as low hours on the
boat. I hear a click when I press the 'add water" button on the Tecma head (relay?) but no water added.
My question is where is the breaker to the raw water pump to the Tecma head on my 2011 R29? The fresh water breaker is in the 12 V breaker panel but where did you place the raw water pump to head breaker? I do not what to replace my Tecma toilet controller and wall switch ($1000) only to find the breaker or fuse to the pump is tripped,
So where might the fuse or breaker to this pump be? Kenny has many posts on the conversion to from raw to fresh water about this time. I want to make sure have electrical continuity on tis moor or just reset the breaker.
The R29 Classic is a valuable boat but not without a working head. Andrew has a good great memory so I bet he knows.
Thank You
Lee Stewart
