Good job... well done.

Talking about cameras I have to add the following.

If you were to add 4 cameras (bow, stern, port & starboard) and have their image data consolidated and stitched via a software program it's possible to get a birds eye view of the complete boat. This same technique is being used on some cars and in fact I was at my local Volvo dealership the other week and they had such a camera system on their new MY2016 XC90. It was truly amazing and it really was as if someone was 50 feet above the car with a wide angle lens looking straight down on the car. The screen inside the car showed every thing around the car making parking, reverse parking etc a breeze and without there ever being a chance for hitting something, such as another car beside you, a small animal and a crawling child.

Hello Dave,

What make/model camera is that?

I like your clean installation.

No one can sneak up on you now!

this is the Garmin GC 10 Marine Camera reverse image . I had to take my time with the install , no wires or screws are visible from the inside . but it was pretty simple to do the interfacing with the raymarine unit , plug and play there.

Install parts list all from amazon Prime:
1 x Garmin GC 10 Marine Camera reverse image
1 x Garmin 15m Video extension cable
1 x BNC Male to BNC Male Adapter
1 x small bottle 3M 5200 Marine Adhesive Sealant.

Good job. I really like the rear view in motion and the 3 window display. Wish my Garmin did that. Or does it?

What model Garmin do you have ? Since the GC-10 is made by Garmin I would assume so . it also depends if you have the free ports in your network . My boat already had the Raymarine IP network , but I didn't use that for this install since I had the free video ports on the back of this unit .

I have always used raymarine , but I would gladly switch to Garmin for the auto routing feature on the GPS and Autopilot ,they have on the new touchscreens ,
