Red light on dash

I don't see anything in the Ranger Manual or Volvo Penta manuals about the red light on my dash that sometimes lights up and sometimes don't when I activate my FOB. What is this for?
 
I believe it means your side cockpit seats (the ones that extend overboard) are not stowed completely.
