Can't seem to get the pic to post however while attempting to diagnose a "Water in Fuel" alarm, I found a small red wire that appears to have factory marking - FUEL 2. It is not connected to anything. Anyone know what this is? And could this be the source of the ""Water in Fuel" alarm?

Not sure about the wire, However, the water in fuel can sometimes be an erroneous alarm. First check to make sure there is no water in the fuel by emptying the filter contents into a clear container and let it settle. If there is water you should see it. If no water is present make sure the contacts on the sensor are clean and reassemble. Reconnect and see what happens. If you still get an alarm, did you use fuel with valve-tech? I have found that this causes erroneous alarms. Other additives have also cause this at times. If you did have an additive in the fuel. Disconnect the wire for the sensor and run your fuel down and then replenish with non-additive fuel, reconnect and see what happens.
