refinish aft table that came with our 2014 CB31

Hi,
Does anyone know what color stain Ranger used on the aft wood table. I assume after proper sanding and retain that I should use Varnish but can you use a clear poly final three coats?

Hi, did the table in my CW28 with the envirotex lite. It’s the same stuff you see on a bar top. This way I could spill whatever and the table is completely sealed. The raised edge molding keeps stuff from running onto the seats or floor. It’s a two part low voc which is practically zero fumes.

Be cautious sanding, it is a thin veneer.

I did sand for a good bit of time with med to fine 150 to super fine to 400 its super smooth, 80% of the top looks great the 3" around edge was really black and that must not be veneer as I was able to take it down to bare wood, the rest still has stain. I will stain edge and see if I can get a decent look?

Does anyone know were to buy a new top? maybe I can just get local craft person to make one for me.

All of our tables are sprayed with Helmsman and a clear satin finish. You can get a spray can at most hardware stores for touch ups or re-coating.

We stored original and bought a larger folding one from IKEA. Much nicer.
