I installed a victron BMV to see power consumption.
Inside refrigerator is 2.45 amps running. Outside refrigerator is 1.9 she.
Of course duty cycle is based off ambient temperature and door openings, but anyone have a guess for hot days? Maybe 50 or 60% on per hour?

A couple weeks ago I shut off the shore power battery charger at 8pm at night. Everything fully charged. We are in a covered slip, so the solar panel produces zero watts. Went back to the boat at 9am. We saw 23 Amp-hours consumed in 12 hours. We have a Victron BMV 712 battery monitor.

This usage represents more than just the refers, though. The usb outlets, nmea2000 bus, stereo memory and our xm weather antenna, and bilge pumps collectively consumes 8 watts 24/7.

This exercise let me know that Channel Surfing consumes 50ah a day total, without us on it. (We have the cabin and cockpit refer also). Outside temp was mid 40’s outside.

The warmer it is outside, and the more we open and shut the refers doors, the more consumption of electrical is expected.
