My remote monitor for my ProMariner charger/inverter is showing a red status light instead of the usual green. What does the red light indicate? My charger/inverter has a blinking yellow light is that normal? I have turned the power to the charger/inverter of and on but still no green light. I disconnected and reconnected the cable from the back of the remote monitor and still I have a red light. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Dorman

I do not have my manual handy, but I think that means there is a fault. Are your batteries charged up? If there is not enough battery power the unit will register a fault. However, when there is a fault there is usually a beeping sound as well.

No beeping sound and my batteries are charged up and I have the problem even when I am connected to shore power.

The important thing you did not mention is are you getting power? I believe some of the units have a different remote display than others. When the toggle switch is in the up position and plugged in shore power you should be getting power 100% all the time. If you put it in the up position while not on shore power you will get no power until there is a positive load. During no load periods you will see a pulsing on the 110V volt meter. If you were to plug in a hair dryer then the system will liven up and you will get constant voltage. You can always call ProMariner tech support. They are usually very helpful. 800 307 6702
