Remote thruster control

I replaced batteries on the remote thruster control for my Ranger 31S, but when I turn it on, the lights just flash and thruster does not work. Thruster with non-remote controls works fine. I think it is a pairing issue but I do not know where receiver is located and how to re-pair the device. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

On my boat, I also need to turn on a switch on the dashboard to activate the remote thruster receiver. Have you done that?
On my 2012 R29 the switch isn't labelled "Thruster Remote", it's one of the accessory switches.

Hey there!

As the others said, you will need to turn on the remote receiver for the boat before using the thruster remote. This is a rocker switch located on your dash to the right of the steering wheel.
