removal of solar panel

I have a R31 CB with solar panel. Damaged in Hurricane Matthew, How do you remove it. wires go through a feedthrough under panel. Is it accessed from top or can it be accessed from inside?

If it is the same as mine there should be a junction box under the panel. Be careful because the panel may still be providing power. I would suggest covering the top of the panel with cardboard to reduce power. Then disconnect leads and then remove from bars.

No JB, just waterproof cable entry seen - maybe there is a JB on panel will try to see. They Underhung on 31CB to allow storing kayak on top od support rails, so little clearance, cannot open hatch!
