I have a 2008 R25 and am thinking of painting the hull. I would want to have the eyebrows painted at the same time. Has anyone taken off the eyebrows? If yes, was it difficult? I am thinking that if I remove them, the paint job may cost less than if they have to tape them off.

Hello,

I wouldnt say they are hard but I wouldnt say they are easy too. Besides the ovious screws there will be sealant in other spots, I would recommend having them painted or even vinyl wrapped on the boat to avoid nasty water leaks from removing and reinstalling. Hope this helps!!

Thanks,

Tape them off. Some of the fasteners are bolted on the interior of the boat and you'd need to remove the ceiling panels and/or monkey-fur/vinyl to gain access. I think taking them off will be a lot more costly than taping them off as well. A good painter will have no issues taping off.
