Salon, dining seats are worn thin and we want to have the seats recovered. Some of the sections are easily removed but the seats, and back on the aft side require more work. Has anyone taken the seats out of a R29? Any insight would be helpful.

Did it this winter to recover the seats. Removal is a pain but straightforward. Have to remove cave wall, microwave, wine cooler, and electric panel.

Has anyone hired this done in Anacortes?

Hi Anne, I would have a reputable canvas person come and do the seats, remove them, recover them, and install. He should use the material you selected or may suggest something more suited to your use. He should also use stainless steel staples and synthetic threads, and installed with stainless steel screws.

Just finishing installing all new cushions on our2012 29S. Did it in a brown 3 tone. Not to hard to do.

I am bringing all the salon seats in for re-covering on Monday.
I have a 31 RT, and it is probably similar to the 29 advice above… to remove the forward and aft facing seats, I have to remove the wine cooler and the microwave… to get to the bottom seats, and the electrical panel to get to the “back resting” seat - ?
are there any tricks or special tools I will need to complete the removal job ?

Many thanks,
