Boat lives in the water, so drying after each use isnt very feasible. I get real tough spots from the saltwater on the blue gelcoat. Has anyone found a good way to remove them that does not affect the ceramic coat (IE no polishing)? I tried car pro spotless 2.0 and it sorta works but would be quite a process to do the whole boat...

After I wash my boat I use a 3' long floor mop I bought from HD for about $15, and simply gets most of the rinse water off the blue hull. About a 3 minute job. I also use an RV water filter that I attach to the hose for the final rinse that keeps the water spots down, again, from HD. Side note, Mine is not Ceramic Coated, origional Gelcoat.

Have real good results using battery powered yard blower. Extremely effective in getting water out of the rub rail and tight corners. Makes follow up on minor drips with a soft rag easy. Also have a de ionize water system installed in the dock box. Rinse/wash down with regular tap, rinse with de ionized water then blow dry.

I have had pretty good results with Mothers CMX Spray Coating. Not labor intensive and I use it about every three months . Not perfect but the best I have found. I am satisfied with the results for now.

Does it remove pre-existing water spots? The issue I am having is how to remove existing water spots without damaging the ceramic coating.

Yes to some extent. This is the best I have found so far. it does not damage the ceramic coating according to the company

you'll need to use an acid based solution to get rid of the spots. Salt-Away or a vinegar/water mix. Not sure if that will effect the ceramic coating.
