So on my 2011 R25sc I have taken out the 1500 promariner inverter and now that I have it out I have a clear look at all the other stuff in the starboard compartment that could use replacing. The water pump is being replaced as it is cheap, the autopilot pump reluctantly ( has probably only worked for 1 year of the 10 years I have had this boat, this will be the third one) will be replaced, and now I am questioning the water heater. Any advice? How long do they typically last? Any one done this? How much? How difficult? Thanks
PS The promariner 2000 series uses the same case as 1500 series for others looking to replace their inverter. Requires larger feed cables to battery but not too difficult.
