While we are new to boating, we have lots of experience on land in small RVs and travel trailers, where we like to be of grid (or at least not in private campgrounds) and therefore have learned to manage power, water and holding tanks.

In our first shower in our new R29S, I was struck, literally, by the massive water pressure and the lack of an easy on/off button to use while showering. As an experiment, I started with a full water tank and let the water run (as I would in a home shower) and was pretty surprised to see that I used half the 45 gallon water tank - which won't be feasible for the "out of marinas' time that we want.

We had installed an oxygenating shower head with on/off switch in our trailer and they work great! The on/off button makes it easy to pause and resume the water to lather up. The oxygenating adds air to the water flow to keep the high water pressure feel. So, we just did the same in our R29S and it also works great. Just unscrewed the existing shower head and screwed on the new one, couldn't have been easier to install. Now I am using more like 3-5 gallons of water for a shower instead of 25. I highly recommend. We got one from Camco.

Thanks Carrie. Do you have a suggestion for a brand and where to buy it?
Thanks. Pat
