The "built-in" (but removable) Coleman cooler on the port side of the cockpit of our 2015 C28 only keeps ice for about 1 day. Has anyone found a better replacement that fits in that space? It seems to be 13 1/2" x 19". (Yes; I do realize that one with thicker walls and the same overall dimensions would have less internal capacity.) Thanks in advance!

please advise on what works out for you. I too would like to replace the original cooler with one that actually keeps cool.

Thanks for the ideas @Cutwater28GG. But I don't think that will work. Their L x W x D dimensions are off. It would have to be on its end to fit, and I don't think they are designed to operate that way.

Original owner of our C-28 turned the Coleman cooler into a fish storage unit complete with big drain hole in the bottom. Tried looking at other product options to replace it with no luck. Ended up buying used one on eBay because that original model is no longer in production or in stock anywhere. Current pricing on eBay for a used one is $150 and up! It’s called a Coleman Party Stacker Cooler 48 can. Product dimensions (L x W x H). 13.75 x 22.50 x 11.75 Inches
Yeah, it’s pretty useless as a cooler. Currently using the Coleman as a trash can for which it works great.
Bought a Yeti 35 that works great as a cooler. We keep the Yeti in the cockpit tucked into a corner.

Is there a scenario where you build a pedestal in the locker hatch below and set the yeti on it? and then reach through the existing top down to it?

(I'm fearful of the day I lose the lid to the coleman!)

I will say in the generally mild Seattle weather (except this weekend), the Coleman has been pretty good if I make sure the lid is actually closed. I can get two days from the ice. perhaps I've never been spoilt by the current generation of coolers though.
