Hi, My Mace suffered a seemingly unrepairable failure - the bearings, cylinder walls, and piston rings ended up as a pile of metal shavings in the oil sump - I'm guessing due to an undetected overheat?
I'd like to see a Ranger fitted with a NextGen UCM1-3.5 generator. This seems to be the smallest unit on the market. It runs at a lower RPM than the Mace and is at least partially water cooled - so it should be more reliable and quieter.
It measures to fit in the space where the Mace was installed, but I'd like to look at one nearby (I'm in Delray Beach, Fl) before I make the purchase.
