An inspection of my through hull vent s on my R29S shows some rust and brown (?) discoloration. I would like to replace the factory vent with a mushroom vent as discussed by Peggie Hall in her fabulous book on holding tanks. It might be good to increase the 1/2 inch line with a larger diameter. Has anyone done this? I would love to hear any results or difficulties doing so. thanks
