Retrofitting Underwater Lights R31

Hi All,

I am planning on installing two underwater lights in the lower Transom and will be using a flush mount set of bronze lights (something like a Lumitec SeaBlaze). There is already a capped wire in the harness and I have the wiring part down. Just would like to know if anyone has done this and where they positioned the lights. They need to be 6” under the water line. I won’t be doing anything that attaches to the trim tabs.

I think all standard installations are on the trim tabs. not sure if there will be any other feedback on mounting?

I put them in my R29 a few years ago and couldn’t be happier.. they are expensive but work very well.
