Rev Sensor wire

Hello,
I was trying to clean out the bilge to get the auto sensor for the pump to work (no luck) and when I got back from flipping the manual switch (pump worked), I noticed a loose wire labeled Rev. Sensor. For the life of me, I can't figure out where it belongs (picture link posted above) or what it is. Does anyone recognize this and have a suggestion for reconnecting it? Maybe I bumped it off while fishing around and the cleaning the sensor? Thanks in advance!

This wire is not used unless low speed is added. I know low speed is not an option for this engine but they still have it in the harness. You can tie it out of the way and probably something we should have done.
