In the ongoing quest to learn about our new boat, I have a question.
My previous boat had a Reverse Polarity Indicator (light) for the shore power system. My new R29s Doesn't seem to have one - or at least I haven't seen one. It does, of course have an ELCI as the main breaker. Does the ELCI eliminate the need for a Reverse Polarity Indicator? Or, have I just never noticed the RP indicator on my panel?

I am not having any issues, I am just curious and trying to learn.

Rocky.

If you have a panel that looks like this one. Look in the top left hand corner and you will see the green or red indicator lights for shore power. The boat must be plugged in for the green light or red light to come on. This photo shows the green light on with the switch in the inverter position and shore power not plugged in. Hope this helps.
