Reverse polarity

How do I rest the inverter or find the problem when i have a "reverse polarity" fault being indicate on my breaker panel.

I know now that I had too many AC systems running off the inverter - but now want to know how to reset and clear the reverse polarity fault.

Would appreciate any advice

I could be wrong, but I thought the reverse polarity had to do with shore power coming in, so if you were on shore power the issue is most likely the wiring at the marina.

Thanks - I will look into that - but when I am on shore power I do not get the fault indicator. Only get it when I am underway

Interesting, I wonder if the power hook up out of the inverter was reversed. If you have a manual see what it shows for the connections and then check yours. It may be as easy as reversing the wires. There are so many different inverter/charger configurations I would be hesitant to advise you from my manual. What setup and brand do you have?
