Cory will be moving our R29 this summer and he didn't seem worried about leaving the RIB on the davit. I worry about the wind pressure on the setup. There is a little bit of gel coat cracking at one of the attachments near the sink.

Any thoughts or suggestions? He'll be moving it about 800 miles.

Thanks,

Jeff

I am no trailer expert, but I would not keep the dink on the swim platform. I would deflate it as must as possible and at least get it into the cockpit and secure it down and out of any draft. Inside the cabin would be better, I don't know if a RIB can get into the cabin? Just my opinion.

Been transporting mine for over a year and over 3000 miles...fully inflated and ready to go...no problems.

Moved a number of them myself with no issues . I usually add extra lines and rotate it fully forward [not using the standoffs] . Weavers are strong .

I like that Marc if I've got it right. Take off the stainless bars and lean the dinghy up against the stern - well tied. That sounds doable.

That's what I do indeed .
