road and water towing assistance

I would like opinions on buying a RV style road side towing for truck/ trailer and also for a boat towing membership . I have never bought these before , but will be towing boat to Florida from Canada , and hopefully boating over to Bahamas , in late March into April . I have my insurance co. updating my insurance to make sure i have southern US and Bahamas coverage for the regular coverage ( for my current coverage , they cover a up to a boat towing amount ,i will have to check again ) Could anyone give me info on companies they have had good luck with . Thanks

I am insured by BoatUS. Get on the water towing for my boat and coverage for towing my vehicle and boat if I have a problem on the road. Only used the on the water tow portion with great satisfaction. I thing the towing club for on the road is 21 bucks a year. http://www.boatus.com

Let me know how your insurance rates fair on the boat.. I know mine are an extra $200 per month while away and my deductible doubles to 2% of insured value.. My boat insurance covers the trailer as well . My auto insurance had no increase for the trailer during transporting south.I have CAA and need to check how it handles trailers.. I am going to get boat US coverage although my boat insurance has a 5K towing coverage and there is also provisions for boat rental during repairs.
We are also hoping to make the Babamas we will need to talk 🙂

Down in the states I have Boat US with the added on the road while trailering service. And then there is always AAA. Having Boat US may be your best option. This way you will be covered on the road and the water.
