We did see the lights of a few other boats from time-to-time, but not constantly. We do not have AIS.

Thanks for documenting your adventure, I enjoyed reading it. I would be more comfortable making a similar crossing with a buddy boat, maybe there will be a future Ranger Tug flotilla?

Hey, Rich, great description of the planning and preparation for your adventure. What were your contingencies for engine failure? What were the options for rescue?

Have you considered learning to sail? Perhaps you could take some beginner courses, and jury rig something on Roam as a backup..
