Rockna 10 update for CW28 LE

I had previously posted that I installed a Rockna 10 (22lb) anchor to replace my whimpy Lewmar 7.5 kg factory original anchor on my CW 28 LE. Although the Rockna fit, I was not happy with the tightness as it was just a hair too big-the point would hit the breastplate ever so slightly and the shank bent the stainless steel opening a bit on the breastplate. I could have redrilled the anchor roller hole and moved it 1 inch forward and it likely would have fixed the tightness but I decided that was a project in itself so I went for plan B

I consequently bought a Lewmar 10kg (22lbs), the next size up in the Lewmar line. It fits perfectly and I am pleased with the size and installation. I would prefer a Rockna but they don't have any hooks that work to my satisfaction.

I too am unimpressed with the Lewmar 16lb that comes standard on the CW28. After several successful years with a 22LB Bruce on my 28 ft Bayliner, I am having the 22lb Lewmar installed on my new CW 28 prepping for a mid-June delivery.
