ROKU and Majestic TV

I just added a ROKU streaming stick to the Majestic TV in the Cutwater we have. Works fine except for volume control. I can't seem to find a setting that will enable volume control.

Has anyone found a setting that works?

I've had volume issues when plugging my laptop into the HDMI port and streaming movies. it seemed to be related to the sequence of powering up the laptop and TV. I can't remember what the sequence was. i suggest you try powering up the roku stick first, then the TV if you can. I suspect that you're plugging the rocku into a powered USB jack in the back of the TV?

Roku works fine on ours, need to use TV volume and turn higher than for off air TV.

Just went through this. If you choose RCA as the tv type when configuring your Roku you'll be able to control power and volume from Roku remote.
