Hello,
We are thinking about purchasing a 27' Ranger Tug. Our current boat has a roof mounted 9500 btu Air Conditioning unit that requires a 14" square hole in the roof and has been flawless and very quiet to use. What do you think the chances are that this could be done on a 27' Ranger Tug? I think it could be mounted side ways on the roof. The factory raw water circulating type does not work when we are on the trailer and want to stay in campgrounds.
Thank You,
Scuffy

I think this is a great plan.. We just left new friends with a CDory thT have this set up and love it for the exact reason you mentioned.... Another alternative would be a carry aboard air conditioner that would mount in the port hole overhead when needed.. I had on on two previous boats and it cooled the whole boat ( both 30 footers ) The side benifit was it ran off my 1700 watt generator..
