I use a similar mirror on our 2017 24 C. I use the type with a suction cup and attach it to the windshield - high enough so that it does not interfere with the Vberth hatch. It works best if turned upside down.
 
I have found outside rear view mirrors on both port and starboard to be one of the most useful things added to our Ranger. Very helpful for docking, anchoring, checking your wake for course deviation and when someone is overtaking you. I really think they’re a must, unless of course, your Italian. Generally, from my experience in Venice, Italians are not too concerned with where they have been or what’s behind them. But riding the Vaporetto (water bus) is always exciting! (See below)
