RT31 - Clean bronze portholes

All: We are working on our new to us 2015 RT 31CB and tackling lots of maintenance jobs.

On the list is cleaning/polishing the bronze portholes. Any suggestions? I've seen vinegar/salt, or baking soda, 3M scrub pads all recommended. Wondering if anyone has a suggestion for the RT portholes.

Once you get them all shiny using whatever method preferred, clean thoroughly with acetone and then spray with clear lacquer for keeping them shiny longer.

On our 2015 we love them weathered.

Thanks everyone. We don't mind the weathered look either. However, on this boat, they are a bit past weathered ... the surface isn't smooth right now. I'm just going to knock it back a bit, hopefully leaving a weathered look, but not near a polished look.
