Anyone know of a product I can use to clean and shine up the black rail that goes along the side of the boat? I thought it was rubber, but it appears to be gelcoat or something else. Actually not sure what it is.
Thanks!

I use Cerakote trim wet wipes. Fast and easy.

You can use a heat gun to bring it back to black, then protect it using Graphine nano ceramic coating.

I am using StarBrite Rub Rail Restorer, and working well: https://a.co/d/92sN9y6

I watched Martin's video and did a test in a small area with a heat gun that my wife uses for her watercolor work. Even not being the right tool, I could see the result. It restored the black color. Planning to do it with the right tool after summer.

I get tremendous results with a homemade recipe - Mix carnauba wax with beeswax and some (heavy molecule) sandalwood oil. Then add a good UV inhibitor...cheap and works! Use it on faded blue, red or green hulls to. Great water beading. You would swear it was fresh Algrip.
