Rudder Damage

Hi there I hit a log on my R29 last week and am trying to figure out what to do. The impact caused a leak and though I did make it back to port there was damage that will require either repair or replacement. Anyone had any luck just straightening and reinstalling

Same thing happened to me but had to Boat US had to be called and help pump me out. I doubt you will able to straighten it so probably need new one. The repair on mine was $8K but went thru insurance. The rudder alone is $5K. Good luck!
