Apparently I can't reply to Coonbay's question about wiring, but on a 27 the boat wiring is -yellow ground, brown manual, brown with stripe automatic power (always on). Check if you have voltage between yellow and brown stripe. If so, check the crimps. I've had original crimps go bad, because they're often down in the bilge, rather that up higher on the sidewalks.
