Rule shower sump box for shower

Good evening all,
Any suggestions for taking the top off the shower sump box that is located & PARTLEY/about one half, accessed at the bottom of the steps leading from the pilot house to the forward state room.
The other half is under the shower pan that has two screws that must be removed in order to take the top off the sump box that allows you to take out the strainer & to clean the soap scum & hair out.
Any & All suggestions would be most appreciated!

Yeah, Fluid Power needs a swift kick over the shower pump box.
It is a PITA in the R25 also.
Be inventive, be persistent.
Bending the end of a tool might help also
Or a ju-ju doll and some pins :mrgreen:

Getting the lid screws out is the problem. I used a slim nosed vise grip pliers. It took a lot of cursing. After removing the screws, I braised a wing nut to the screw head. Now it is a snap removing the screws, and lifting the cover. Or I should say moving the cover to the side.
