Running Cables

I am planning to run two new sensor cables from the engine compartment/transom area, one to the NMEA 2000 backbone and one to the back of the chart plotter at the helm and would like to know:


1. Where is the NMEA 2000 backbone on the R-29CB?

2. What's the best route to take to get a cable from the engine compartment to the chart plotter?

I would fellow the cables to find it.

But, if you can find just one tee. Than you can work from there. Why run two cables?? Just come off the backbone with one cable and than add tees in the engine compartment. In the future, if you want to add something else you just add tees on.
