Hi All
I am noticing a little bit of rust bubbles under the paint on my helm door below the plastic handle ( 2011 R29 ) As anyone addressed this and if so how did you fix it? I will need to sand and repaint, but trying to see if anyone has done this yet and if there were any surprises.

Thank you

I have the same thing... a little bit on the cabin door and the helm door. None on the windows. I don't think it's rusk, moe likely aluminum corrosion. Haven't really researched a good method to tackle the problem because it's not that bad. But I can't see it being anything more than sanding down the corrosion, priming and a little touchup paint in a matching color.

We have the same bubbling on our helm sliding door and the cockpit door on 2011 R29; the paint is holding up and not flaking off and until that happens, I don't plan to do anything. No signs of this issue on the windows.

For those interested here is the paint to match the door. Amittay from at the factory was kind enough to find it for me.

Thanks for posting the info. I wonder why we have issues with the door and not the windows? My boat is 11 years old and the window frames are perfect.
