Hi Guys,

I came across this Ryobi inflator while shopping for something else entirely. This thing works really well for inflating/deflating the dingy. I just added some vinyl hose and a fitting for the dingy valves. That was just convenience , it worked OK with the fittings it came with. Beats the heck out of the foot pump, although I still might add pressure with it.

Was a no brainer for me as I use the Ryobi tools anyway. Was only about 25 bucks or so without battery. I would assume the other cordless tool companies would have something similar.

That's pretty neat!

But I have to ask -- what's with the clamp and the tennis ball!?

support for the cover I will bet. I use a small plunger for supporting canvas, rubber end up of course.

You've given me a great idea! I could use the inflator for the dinghy to blow out the water lines when I winterize.

Yes, that clamp supports the cover to help the rain run off. Got the clamp for cheap at Harbor Freight. It's a PVC dingy, I find I really need to keep the sun off it. The sun beat it up so bad last year I had to paint it, which is a whole 'nother story.

I hadn't thought about clearing water lines with it. I might try it when I re-commission in a few weeks. Might help me get the anti-freeze out. Thanks for the idea.
