Safari Windows Anyone?

My wife and I are totally new to Ranger tugs and looking for our first. We are trying to figure out which size would best fit our needs for cruising the Chesapeake Bay and ICW.

I recently looked at a 2009 R-25 and one of the questions I had is if anyone has figured out a “Safari Window” like my old VW Bus, where the bottom of the window would flip up in the front just like the later model back window seat windows flip up for an additional seating location. I could imagine flipping up a front window while cruising down the ICW with wind in the face...

Really cool to see this community and we cannot wait to learn more.

I modified the center-front window of my 21EC to lay down, hinged at the bottom, on top of the berth hatch. It was a tedious mod, but at 6kn in an Oklahoma summer, one needs all the air one can get! Made a world of difference.

Saw your post and just a few minutes later saw this on a boat on my local Craigslist:
