Wagonner Cruising Guide is keeping this list up to date. There are tabs for Washington, BC, and North BC/Vancouver West Coast waters.

Cheers,

This is very helpful, and hard to find (and confusing) on the various sites in themselves. Thank you for sharing!

In our local news, Friday Harbor has asked transit boaters to stay away until the virus is safe. They don’t have the facilities if a breakout were to occur.

I wonder how boaters are interpreting the "Essential Travel Only" mandate currently in place in Washington State. I would argue that pleasure boating is "essential," however I believe our governor would disagree! 🙂

One of our neighbors is a Coastie and he's told me that The Coast Guard has no plans to stop boaters to see if they are violating the "stay at home" mandate. He advises that if a pleasure boater gets in trouble, he/she could tie up valuable first responder resources during a time of national emergency. Let alone the possibility of needing a hospital bed! (The LAST place on the planet I want to be right now!)

Alas, we are staying in port until the mandate is lifted. If nothing else, for us it's a small sacrifice on our part in order to show respect to our brave doctors, nurses and first responders.

Well said!
