Subject: Saw this fabulous Offshore Cruising Tender today

At my Edmonds dock I came across a Tender model I've not seen before. I was really struck by its looks and the colored bumper cushion surrounding the hull. It looked awfully good, so I went looking on the internet for more info.

This tender is made in NZ, and list for around $5,200 USD stock, and has multiple accessories. The hull bumper color can be selected. It weighs at around 65 tp 70 lbs.

Thanks Chill Awhile (a Hero Red 2020 R29 CB) for leaving this Tender out for my inspection. 😀 😉

Interesting.

Pretty pricey.

Looks good, but go into the youtubes posted in the company website. They are running them at high speed and they sure look unstable when run that way. On the other hand, run with more sanity they should move with ease and efficiency.

Thanks for sharing.

Hey Barry. Thanks for your note today. Glad you like the tender. I’m actually having Olson Manufacturing doing something final work on a custom davit system that will be installed tomorrow. I’ll head down there and plan to take some more photos.

Dan: Will your Offshore Cruising Tender be mounted on the swim step in a vertical or horizontal or some in between position ? I saw the davit brackets on your swim step and noted they were not positioned on the swim step's trailing edge, but approximately in the center of the swim step platform. I also noted that you maybe will use some form of winching such as a block and tackle mechanism to raise and lower the Tender.

Please take photos of the finished Tender setup.... and of course I can always come down to your boat later today and see how things are going.

Thanks. 😀

Saw this today. Great setup. I love how you can launch and retrieve the tender without fiddling with the motor. Have not seen this on a boat if this size.

But, seems like you lose the use of the swim platform for other purposes and the tender is a bit of a rain catcher.

Very nice.
