Yes! I agree with Larry. Please. Any photos out there of factory mounted Scotty downriggers on the R 27 or other would be wonderful! I've read several different suggestions, etc. but as we know a couple of good photos of how a downrigger mount should look on an R 27 is worth a whole bunch of word descriptions. (I've seen a few photos, but would like to see others)
Also, I make a mean batch of smoked Lake Superior lake trout and salmon. I just need to catch some with my R 27 Scotty downrigger mounts and am more than willing to share . . .🙂 (Could also use some advice on how to paste the smilies to the right of the reply box into posts)

Sorry, this is the best I can do as our Scotty mounts have since been removed. In the picture below on delivery day the port side Scotty mount can be seen on the rail if you click on the photo and zoom in.
