Hello everyone. I am 90% sure that I will buy a new R25. However, I cannot do a sea trial with the dealer. My wife and I are flying to Ft. Lauderdale for the boat show next weekend. I was wondering if there are any owners in the Ft. Lauderdale area that I might be able to talk to potable take a short ride with next weekend. I want to know how how it handles on the ocean and what are the limits for it. I will be boating in FL on the gulf side, the great lakes and lake Cumberland in KY. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you. John. email jbruck714@gmail.com

John we have had a R25sc for 3 years now and find it to be a great little boat. For 2 years we traveled on all of the Great lakes, some of the canals, and lastly this year on Center Hill lake in Tn. From our perspective on the great Lakes the vessel will do much better than you in most of the adverse conditions you may occasionally find yourself in. Cumberland lake will be no problem at all. Word to the wise, always keep ahead of the weather via the many weather apps available and never, never let "get home ittis" lure you into heading our for home when the weather forecast is questionable. Stay in port and wait it out.

Rangers are great boats, great customer service and great people. Have at it!
