Seakeeper Ride - Non Gyro Running (not at rest) Stabilizing

Good Morning Team,

Putzing around the boating forums and happened upon a thread on the SeaKeeper Ride. It is not a gyro system and only works underway. Even thought it is cheaper than an gyro system, still not cheap.

That looks like an interesting device. One thing to be aware of, though, is this statement from the FAQ: “full stabilization benefits begin around 20-25 mph”. We spend most of our time poking along at 10-12 knots!

They begin operation at 10 mph. I suspect they need more flow to reach full stabilization benefits.
