For those of you who have removed the swing up seat in the cave and have looked at the block protruding from the wall and said, “How the heck can I remove that”? , here is the answer. Fortunately Ranger added the block after they installed the monkey fur on the wall, so removal is not very unsightly. There are six screws driven from the rear so unscrewing it the conventional way is impossible. I removed the monkey fur from the block and then proceeded to split the block with a chisel until it totally came away from the screws. With the screws protruding from the wall I then took a hacksaw and nicked each screw close to the wall and bent it back and forth to just about the fatigue point, but not breaking it off I then turned the screw in just past the weakened point and snapped it off. If your hand is small enough you can reach behind the panel and turn the remaining screw out. Should you not be able to do that the screw will be flush with the exterior wall and not be a danger to cuts and the head will just be sticking out on the opposite side.

Good Luck!
