My daughter #1 has bought me a Helicopter Tour ticket of the Seattle Harbor area... and maybe a flyover of Fisherman's Terminal for this coming Thursday evening. Maybe we can buzz Bob & Nita flying over Fisherman's... if so, I'll take some photos of Bob & Nita looking up in surprise... 😉 ...maybe a decent gratuity for the pilot will do the trick. The tour will start from Boeing Field at 6pm and last for almost an hour depending on weather conditions.

The helicopter model will be a Robinson R44... and I have no idea what kind of helicopter this is... hopefully a good one.

What would be good sites to view from the air... ? What about buzzing Bruce&Vicki at Elliot Bay marina... Bruce ??? ...just a warning to you.

I bet detecting Ranger Tugs is a lot harder from the air compared to on the water...

To return the favor/gift I've invited daughter and her family to a cruise + lunch around Lake Union and/or Lake Washington on Sunday while at the Fisherman's Terminal meeting... Let's see now, that means 7 onboard + dogs... I must make sure I have enough life jackets... so should be a fun trip.

That would be a Robinson 4 seat helecopter built in Torrance Calif. right next to the Torrance airport. That was my stomping grounds for the first 35 years.

We're hoping to drop in on Bob and Nita, at their invitation, on Thursday evening. We'll be looking for the helicopter, Barry, and give you a hearty wave. 😀

I'd check out the locks, and Salmon Bay. Maybe do a fly-over the Olympic Sculpture Park, in front of our home. But it would take a pretty big tip to buzz us, as we're in Poipu, Kauai.

Cheers!

Bruce&Vicki: Nice... Wow.... Kauaʻi is hopefully having nicer weather than we're having in Seattle today as it's dreary and raining here. I've never visited Hawaii islands and I'm told it's a wonderful place to retire to by some recent retired co-workers... a bit far away from the rest of us though. Have fun and a safe return.

Yes... a quick spin over the locks and downtown Seattle is in the plan for sure... and thanks for the 'tip' saving suggestion.
