I just bought an R23 and am days away from my shakedown cruise. So excited. Advice?

One piece of advice is to keep the boat in the vicinity of the dealer for 4-8 weeks once you have possession to work out any adjustments and after purchase commissioning. Keep the boat simple until you are used to it.

I did subscribe to the Sirius wx service. It is pricey but super helpful being able to zoom out to see pressure systems, wind strength and direction, and precipitation info all on the screen. Much easier to form a picture for travel than listening to the radio 4-5 times to make sure you got all the content down AND for the right weather station for the intended travel.
