I have a new to me 2017 R29 and I'm trying to figure out a lag when I connect to shore power. After switching on the breaker at the pedestal I can see that the power is coming through the cord (red light at boat connection). When I switch on the AC breaker the inverter display beeps, but the AC meter does not show any voltage. It usually takes about 20 minutes until the breaker jumps to 120-125v and power is available. This weekend it jumped on and off several times before staying on.
I've asked the marina and they haven't heard about other boats having issues. Any thoughts? I've ordered a new AC main breaker, but it is on back-order with no anticipated date. Is it possibly the inverter? I will admit that I am not experienced with electronics, so I am learning as I go.

Sounds like the transfer switch in the inverter/charger is malfunctioning. The inverter is registering the 120 Volt input but the transfer switch is not switching right way. There seem to be a lot of issues with the transfer switches. I believe in 2017 there charger /Inverter was Promariner. Contact them to see about troubleshooting the issue.

i had this problem with my promariner inverter. As it turns out, the connection on the back of my shore power inlet was poorly stripped and very corroded. This was causing not enough current to get through to kick the charger on, but it was enough to get power to the AC main breaker ELCI circuit. It would eventually work, after the connected had "warmed" up and the wire was more conductive. I would check the back of your shore power inlet. I thought it was the transfer switch as well, but after putting in a new inlet and restripping the wires I have not had the problem since.
